Food needs an upgrade! I had the chicken piccata. It was horrible. So salty it was inedible. The seating was so crowded I felt like I was sitting with three other couples. And the music was so loud I had to lean over and scream in my companion's ear to talk. Not worth the trip, not worth the money, I'd rather not eat than eat here again.

Have been here twice and both times, pleasantly surprised at the flavor of the food and the service. Our first time was a hit... great piano player outside and service with a smile. The scallop salad is to die for! Couldn't believe how perfect the bacon-wrapped scallops were.

Awful....plz plz get a new bartender - the worst. Never a smile or hello - just .."what can I get ja" or ' ' what r ya drinkin'.Then he just slams the drink in front of you...in a very very small plastic cup.... The food is uck as well - canned sauces - tasteless pizza ....This was our 4th try and our last try.

My wife and I decided to spend time and invest on our local businesses after moving back to Florida this summer. Unfortunately we had the worst experience in a very long time dining at Main Street Tratorria. Service began slowly, I guess it was to early for dinner at 5pm, as the waiters were busy talking to each other. Finally we were able to order our appetizer of caprese and Aspargus Rollanine was very salty and dry, but edible. The entrees are where the meal took a total nose dive. My wife's lasagna was so over cooked you couldn't cut through the cheese layer with a knife and the inside was decidedly worse. The beef was spoiled. Disgusting! My entree of gnocchi was a mushy oily pile of glue. You couldn't separate one gnocchi from another as they were so under cooked and drenched with oil. I normally give restaurants a pass for errors but two spoiled meals in one sitting ensures I will continue spending my local dollars elsewhere at places such as J PAN, MacAllisters, and Carmel Cafe

The cooks must have lost their taste buds. It's not the same penne vodka that I loved. They changed the recipe. Another time I was here they over cooked my chicken... The only good thing about this place is the alcohol and outdoor entertainment.

STAY AWAY!!!!! This place sucks!!!!! The pizza tastes like cardboard. Horrible!!!!! Cheese tastes like rubber. Blah blah blah

Do not waste your money! L Terrible experience, food was terrible, party of six and the only good thing was our pleasant waitress Tony. Would never suggest this to anyone. There are so many wonderful restaurants in Sarasota, trust your YELP reviews.

The first time we ate here I was served Fettuccine with mushrooms and Elmers glue. (supposed to be pasta carbonara). Our appetizers were mediocre at best. My husband and a friend both enjoyed their linguine con vongole, so we decide to give the place another shot. tonight. This time i ordered shrimp scampi and broccoli over linguine. Scampi is probably one of the easiest dishes to make, as the garlic that is added gives it MOST of the flavor. I honestly do not think there was one clove of garlic in this whole dish! Not only that, but it tasted like the pasta, broccoli, AND shrimp were simply boiled, drained, and put in a bowl. NO TASTE AT ALL!! So sad, they really could have a good thing going. Maybe a new chef of some cooking lessons for the existing one would help. Won't be going back any time soon or any time at all!

I have been to this restaurant several times and the food is always good but the noise at dinner time when the place is full is not pleasant. What was management thinking when they decorated this place? Hard surfaces everywhere = too much noise. Like eating in a big cement box. Eat outside if it's not too hot.

Been here multiple times and sat outside. The live music can be so loud you can't even have a conversation. Maybe tone it down some?? We try to sit as far down away from it as possible. Service is always really good here. As far as food, the bruschetta app is good but very bready-they used a thick bread. Its good but then you're full. The mozzarella app was weird and not in a good way-was like a marriage of grilled cheese and soup. Didn't like the sauce and was also very bready. Don't recommend. The asparagus rolls were good. Had a pasta dinner once that was just ok, but the pizza are pretty good. Blt pizza in particular. Nice atmosphere and staff, food is pretty good. Ps we saw Dick Vitale there once too :)

Good place. Good service. Great pizza. Drinks are a bit inconsistent but I think this is a place where you cut your teeth as a bartender. Worth a visit.

  • Leslie P.

I like the atmosphere and service, and I find the food to be consistently very good. I wish the wine list was a little more interesting, but the prices are great.

Another reviewer put it best: never amazing, never truly awful. The pizza's not bad ( in relation to what is available nearby). The dining space sucks, outside is better, but then you're right in the middle of Main Street, for which there are no words to describe just how awful this faux urban space is. If you find yourself dropped into Main Street LWR and have to eat this place is the best of very limited options.

I like this restaurant, and have been there many times. It is always best to sit outside and listen to the live music. (Joe Thayer is AMAZING!) My husband and I went last night but we ended up sitting inside because it was too hot to eat outside. After we were seated, I picked up my menu and opened it. To my surprise a ROACH crawled from inside the menu and fell onto the table! It was disgusting! My husband then knocked it onto the floor with his menu. We ended up leaving and going elsewhere to eat. I was so embarrassed to say why to the waitress, but we just made an excuse of having no time to eat and then we left. My husband mentioned afterwards that he saw a sign that said they were renovating. I just hope to God they don't have a roach infestation happening in the restaurant. Not sure if I could ever go back now...

I gave this place 4 stars for the atmosphere and service but the food alone is a 3 at best. This place is good, not great. I love all the outdoor seating and outdoor bar area. Service is always good. The food is okay. Their goat cheese bruschetta appetizer is by far the most delicious item on their menu. The pizza is good, very thin crust, but it just seems to be missing something (that being said, I am very picky when it comes to pizza). They have $2 Stellas at happy hour which is a great deal. However, this place is overpriced which is typical of downtown Lakewood Ranch.

  • Jay J.

Never amazing, never awful. Probably the worst space for a restaurant to be in from a diners perspective, because it always seems to suck you back in from time to time.

  • Robert L.

Loud, poor service, really mediocre food, and a wine list that is uninspired. And a one man band who wails outside, just dreadful. His idea of singing is screaming and wailing. If he could only sing on key, and with less volume. You couldn' hear, ort talk over his "singing". I took my golfing guys there and we ate outside, were steered to a really bad wine by the head waiter, then were served just average food. I was embarrassed that I suggested it to my friends. There are lots of venues to eat in Lakewood Ranch, pick another one.

Could be a really great local spot but food has gone downhill The music is so loud outside you can't talk. Food is not great. Love to sit outside and have a glass of wine. its a great atmosphere wish food was better. The one item that's great is grandmas meatball salad.

EEKKK. The noise reverberated, assisted by juvenile screaming. Hard surfaces abounded. Some floor space littered with bread and crackers. The gleam of the fluorescent lights from the dish room glared throughout the meal. (easily fixed with a small screen--could have spared us the view--) The General Manager was scruffish in ragged jeans and a limp shirt tail, meandering around but not interacting with anyone but the owner. Strange. "Recycled" condiments ( think cheese) (call the health department?) returned to the kitchen service shelf. Good service, though waitstaff was sheepish about the management (understandable--who would want to claim that as leadership?). Limp, underdone pizza crust. Plain tomato sauce on the pizza. Yawn. Fresh romaine, but thick, sticky, bland dressing for Caesar. Wines were good, but priced at the top of the market ( think $9-12 a glass--though some decent selections--) though first glass was old/over itself and had to be sent back. And did I mention the noise? Two of us and I could not hear my dinner partner. And we were EARLY, to get to a movie! Well..probably not again.

Finally! A good place to get pizza in Bradenton and it is not crazy expensive! I got an aruluga portobella pizza, the crust was nice and crisp on the bottom with a silky chewy texture inside. The cost was about 17$ and definitely worth it if you don't feel like making your own pizza for once!

Ate here again tonight. OUTSTANDING IN EVERY WAY! My wife and I love this place! Very friendly staff. Always seems to be busy which is a great sign. Great value. Great food. It is loud. It is fun. We will be back for sure! Vacation is fun in lakewood ranch.

So pleased to find a restaurant that has it all in this area. Great ambiance, indoor or outdoor seating, live music that allows conversation with out straining to hear your partner, a beautiful indoor/outdoor bar and large portion sizes. I will be back over and over again!

We were excited to try this restaurant as we were hoping for a great trattoria right in the neighborhood. Upon entering there was a cleaning smell which is always a trun off. To me entering a restaurant should smell like dinner's cooking. Like others have said, it is loud, so there is no ambiance at all. Our waiter was very pleasant which I immediately appreciated. We ordered the mussels for an appetizers, they appeared "quickly" HUGE mussels, that were so tough I spit it out. The sauce was not tasty and they added some kinda banana pepper which had no flavor. The waitress saw did take these back and we skipped on trying another appetizer. Dinner - I got a flatbread, although I was eyeing the pizza that looked decent. The flatbread had hummus, red onion and calamata olives and I added sun dried tomatoes - it was tasteless and I'm not sure if it was suppose to be cold but it was. I asked for the flat bread to be extra cripsy it was not. I ate the corners and left the rest. My guest got linguine with marinara and sausage. GROSS - the "marinara' was chunks of canned tomatoes no sauce and there were two large sausage links that looked disgusting....the skin was on the usage which made it hard to cut and eat. We got a side of broccoli rabe which was so greasy and full of garlic - This food was not cooked with any love. It was thrown together by a line chef. The cost of our bill a whopping $42 including cokes that cost $2.50 each. What a huge disappointment. There is nothing worst then paying for food that you don't eat or get sick from.

I am very hesitant to write a negative review. In fact this is the first time. But in this very special case, when I have been served what may be the worst restaurant meal of my life, I feel compelled. I ordered a simple Mussels Diablo with a red sauce. The mussels were chewy, but sometimes that happens, no big deal. On the other hand the tomato sauce was nothing more than diluted tomato paste, I swear. A raw, artificial flavor with no hint of seasoning. But the real problem came with the Diablo part. Now I like my food spicy. Mexican, Indian, Ethiopian, Italian... I add peppers. In an Italian dish like this the seasoning usually comes from crushed red pepper seeds. At least that's the case every time I have ordered a fra Diablo dish. I noticed on the first bite that there was jalapeno in the mix and it was quite hot, not unbearable. I started picking out the pepper slices. By the time I was done I had a mound of pepper equal to or larger than the serving of pasta. I'm not kidding, in a relatively small plate of food there were close to thirty slices of jalapeno. It made up close to half the dish. Eating that much jalapeno would be bad for the strongest of stomachs. It was either a cook with a bad day and a warped sense of humor or a chef with no taste or control. Either way, I shall not return. I would avoid this one. I'm sure they'll be closed soon.

Love this place. Main street has now a lot more people since this placed open. Their pizza is really good and their antipasto is good to. We always sit outside in the street and have the escargots and the grilled mozarella before a pizza. Nice place to sit eat well and have a wine

Do not go here. The food is not good at all. I had the gnocchi with vodka sauce and the gnocchi tasted like it was made with salt water. It was disgusting.

I met my friend Rachel here for dinner the other night and was impressed for a few reasons. Our waitress was friendly and attentive and went over the specials right away for us. We were give ice water, menus and time to make our choices. We decided to share a flatbread with fresh mozzarella, tomato, fresh basil and pesto and a 'Chef Douglas' favorite' pizza with truffled arugula, domestic and portabella mushrooms and shaved parm. Both pies were delicious, made with super fresh ingredients and a crust that was a good balance of chewy and crisp. Now as a New Yorker, I am supposed to be very hard on out-of-NY pizza, but I can't really compare this...it isn't the fold-over style we NYers are bred to evaluate. This is more like artisan, thin-crust, brick over pizza- which is really a breed of it's own, and for what it is, it is quite good. The price was super reasonable and the service was excellent, casual but professional and attentive. There was live music outside that was WAY better than average and I really enjoyed listening to familiar songs, great voices and talented musicians. The Main street location is very convenient and conducive to a pleasant evening stroll after dinner. I will definitely be going back! Like

I must say that this Italian restaurant is the perfect addition to Lakewood Ranch Main Street! Now that the cooler weather is upon us, my husband and I love sitting outside in the cafe style chairs. The prices are reasonable and portions are generous. You can belly up to the main street bar in or outside and still enjoy your pie. During 'Music On Main' you can buy pizza by the slice and still be part of action. Live music can be a little loud inside.

We really like this place. We usually come for flatbread after church on Sunday, but tonight we're taking advantage of $3 happy hour wines and enjoying a lovely evening. It's our favorite place on Main Street LWR.

This is a place that my brother and his wife like to go to near where they live. So, in visiting them, we needed a place to eat and wound up here. We sat outside. Unlike South Florida, this area isn't as hot, and so it's very comfortable to dine outdoors, even during the course of the afternoon. Our server gentlemen was originally from Philly, and enjoyed talking to me about sports (Packers, Eagles, etc.). He was humorous. He did a good job. All around, the conversation was flowing, and sitting out on the cafe lends itself to that. On to the food ... I had the Chicken Marsala, which was okay. I had Caesar Salad prior. The food was okay. I have to say the best part for me were the two Stella Artois drafts, which were served in a Stella Artois glass, which always pleases me. Ha. Cold and delicious. I'm sure we'll return, but I'll try something different next time.

Love Main Street Trattoria! We love their pizza...the house salad is amazing, although it's a separate charge. (8.00) We have never been disappointed in their food, and the outside cafe atmosphere is great.

Lovely patio and sidewalk seating. Large appetizer servings. The chicken piccata was wonderful the meatballs are just ok. Penne with cream sauce is decadent. Good pizza for the kids

I'm sad to see what has happened to this restaurant. It's such a great location too. I don't understand why it's going downhill. First, the hostess was borderline rude seating us in the sun and my not wanting it in my eyes. The bartender was rude too when he couldn't hear my order. Server is nice but kitchen is slow. My disappointment came when they served my fav dish, the stuffed eggplant. Why in the world would an Italian restaurant add sweet and sour sauce to any dish? It's the sweet red chili pepper sauce that usually comes in a packet with a spring roll. They even put the sauce on my salmon. Gross. It is awkward and confusing why any chef would think this goes together. The rest of the food was okay. Just not what it was.

I wanted to like this place, I really did. Been staying in Lakewood Ranch for the last 3 weeks while my Mom is in the hospital here, and tried just about every restaurant on Main St. Most have been incredibly underwhelming. Sat at the bar, the bartender was friendly as can be and gave a nice pour on my Crown on the rocks. Ordered the linguine with white clam sauce. Asked if it came with a salad or if they had a side dinner salad, nope. Only salad was the entrée size on the menu. Entrée came, and I had to make sure it wasn't an appetizer portion...I'm not one to complain about portions, but this is the first time I can remember I left a restaurant hungry. They used spaghetti instead of linguini, about a tennis ball size portion of pasta. And then 6 tiny clams. No parsley or other herbs, a bit of garlic, and a bit of clam broth. Literally about 8 bites of food. And not even any bread to soak up the broth. Everyone else was eating pizzas, that seems to be the way to go. $17 for this pasta dish was absurd, given the quality.

What happened to this place??? This place use to be one of our "go to" places for great Italian food. But the last few times we have eaten there we have been incredibly disappointed. The service and atmosphere are still great but the food quality has tanked. My husband said that his meal tasted like an MRE in the army. I tasted a meatball and I will say it was absolutely terrible. PLUS the most irritating thing is that it is an Italian restaurant that does not serve any tubular pasta. They only serve spaghetti, linguini, cavatelli and fettuccini. I mean how can you have an Italian restaurant without penne, rigatoni or even rotelli. This blows my mind. Tube pasta is way more kid friendly and should be offered. I hate that this place has lost its luster. I hope it gets its mojo back because I really enjoy eating downtown.

This place keeps getting progressively worse. Both the quality of food and service is deteriorating. Save your money and go to Valentino's or Carrabas.

I was here on 3/13/2015 and it's getting better my pizza and salad was awesome no complaints but service is a bit slow at the bar.

  • David Rey S.

This is not for those looking for a "foodie" experience. Pizza is EXCELLENT. Salad with meatballs great. Grilled salmon with a salad or several of the pasta dishes are good - not excellent. I like this spot for the bar scene - set up is great for people watching (open air windows) and the bartenders/service is great. Good place to hang out if you are nearby and do not want to drive to downtown Sarasota.

  • Bill A.

Tracy and I both ordered pasta (lasagne and pasta&meatballs) but the server did not offer a salad. We had to ask for bread...really? We enjoyed eating on the sidewalk! We will come back.

Great happy hour. Excellent Pizza (eat in or take out). Sit at the outdoor bar, relax and listen to the musical stylings of Joe Thayer.

  • Todd B.

Came here for happy hour with my girlfriend, so I can't really review the fully dinner, but we had the mozzarella and basil flatbread along with a couple of drinks. Their happy hour deals weren't fantastic, but we each were able to get a couple of drinks and the appetizer and I think we spend around $20, so that's pretty good. And the flatbread was delicious and the bartenders wonderful. I liked it here since part of their bar was outside, so we were able to sit outside on main street in Lakewood Ranch and enjoy the early evening. Unfortunately, I am writing this review a week later, and my memory rarely lasts more than 12 hours, so I don't have much else to say. We did like it very much though.

My friends and I dropped in to eat at Main Street Trattoria a bit late, around 9PM, and were seated promptly. In fact, the restaurant was only 50% filled which made me nervous about service (and food). Things turned out fine which was good. Our server was a young guy who seemed to enjoy the job. Attentive, full of answers and quick to respond. That's a plus in any restaurant. We ordered drinks and ordered food. The salads and soup came to us quickly and were very good. Mine salad was more house variety with delicious Trattoria's own italian. Lots of flavor. Friends got a Caesar salad and one got pasta fagoli soup. The main courses were pasta bolognese (friend said it might have been over-the-top rich with cheese but he enjoyed it). Another ordered penne pasta and he liked it. I ordered flatbread with sauteed veggies covered with a drizzle of olive oil and shredded parmesghan cheese. I found it delicious. What sort of brought me down was the restaurant's layout. It seemed sparse and without character. Cheap looking wall art and posters, chairs and tables that were just adequate. I mean, the meal was good, the service was good but if I'd have to come to this restaurant for a nice dinner date,... meh. Main Street Trattoria seems to deliver on above average food so it gets my A-OK rating.

I've looked at this place a number of time and finally broke down and tried it. My main reason for avoiding it till now is how loud the dinning area is. You walk in and cant' even hear what the hostess says to you. It just all hard surfaces and makes for an odd experience when you have to talk over the echoes of everyone else in this place. Plus the guy they have playing a loud guitar makes for a very odd and not exactly ideal dinning experience. We weren't that hungry, so what to do? Two appetizers and a salad, right? Well that was the plan and it was a bit of surprise. We ordered the bruschetta, the house salad and the clam appetizer plus a couple of glasses of wine. My jaw hit the floor when they brought it out. Huge huge portions on the bruschetta and salad. So if you are into that go for it. The bruschetta was interesting and I did enjoy it. Not traditional to my experience. Goat cheese was under then the layer of diced tomatoes, some balsamic reduction but the odd bits were thai basal instead of italian and some pickled red onions. I thought the onions worked well with the goat cheese. So I enjoyed this and it is interesting to see these variations. The salad was a monster! It was on a15 in plate and about 4-6" wide and packed high with salad. We thought we were having a normal little house salad and we got the feed trough. While good, it came out of a bag (saw them make it) and not sure I really wanted $8 worth of mixed greens. The disappointment was the clams. Overcooked and with sysco garlic! What is with this town, putting bad jar garlic on seafood! Very disappointing. While I found the bruschetta interesting, I'm in no rush to go back. Service was ok, but nothing special. Not really interested in having my ear drums shattered, not interested in being unable to hear my DC from across the table, and spending $50 on a few bites is not my idea of a choice place. Hate to imagine ordering an entrée here.

We ate outside for dinner. Very pleasant. We like the fried ravioli appetizer. And we all liked our entrees. I had the pasta with marinara and meatballs. It's a simple dish but very tasty. Sauce is very good.

Wow, we have been coming here for years and suddenly they are more concerned with the street crowd and walk ups than regular customers. Sat at the bar for drinks and dinner and were served the drinks and then promptly told to move to make room for the cash bar. They could put the drinks in plastic cups for us. No offer to sit us at an outside table , but to get in line and wait for a table. Extremely rude. Food has usually been Ok, but not worth the abuse and poor service. Don't waste you're time, go someplace that treats you right. Never going back.

Went there with my family. We ordered dinner. We asked the waitress about our Caesars salad after waiting 20min. We were told that the chef had to make more dressing. 45min later same story. End of the story is it wasn't being made. Spoke with the manager who got nasty and asked us to leave. This has never happened to us before or after. Try Valentinos instead. Great service and food.

My wife and I just moved to Lakewood Ranch and decided to check this place out. We came away pretty disappointed. The food was on the level with an Olive Garden on a bad night. I had a flatbread. It was doughy and mushy, the sauce tasted like it was out of a can - an old can. My wife had primavera. It tasted bland, the pasta was waaaayyy over cooked to the point it was mush, and I'm pretty sure it had sat under a heat lamp for a while. We don't plan on returning, ever.

Ouuii. I don't know why I've given it another go, but this place needs desperate help in quite a few areas. First and foremost, the service (behind the bar, eek) was preposterous. No hello, no greeting, just a 5 minute wait for a very rude "What r ya drinkin ." Note- this was my 3rd time here and it's happened EVERY time. Why go back?? I wonder that too but it's bcuz we had somewhere to be in that area at 4. Poor decision, Again. On to the food, everything ive tasted is below mediocre. Bland sauce, icky pizza dough that scimps on the toppings, over priced salads. . etc etc etc. No thanks. Honestly, i dont know how they're getting away with it... Last but not least, the decor just plain sucks. Loud cafeteria-like dining room, nothing too spectacular to look at, and there was a trail of ants crawling across the bar in front of us, EW. The place may be great at night OUTSIDE for the live music from what ive heard, but they lack in politeness and professionalism. . Am I missing something here? That was my final trip. UNIMPRESSED AGAIN. Save your money!

The Place can highly recommended but they must has changed cooks. We were very disappointed in the food, but the service was good. Their was four of us we had on appetizer Bruschetta there was plenty and the topping was good but the cheese and the bread was old and soggy. All our meals were over cooked The veal marsala was the only one that I would say was about Olive Garden (we expected better). The Veal Parm need a knife to cut it. Two of use got Eggplant Parm t was sliced a thin as a potato chip and fried like a chip (hard and crispy). We will never go back unless thy change the cook and we see lots of good reviews.

Like rude bartenders? Like to eat in an echo chamber similar to the cell block in The Walking Dead? Like Felix the Cat posters on the walls? Nothing says "Italian" like Felix the Cat. Like live amplified music so loud you can't make conversation? Then this is the place for you. It's not for me.

LIVE entertainment - Joe Thayer & George Rice ROCK! Incredible sound - Joe Thayer has an amazing crooner sound and George jams on the sax! Very professional group - they take requests - fun night for all. The pizza is delicious. The wait staff (especially BILLY!) was very accommodating and great with our large group & kids. Fun atmosphere and great food - I highly recommend the pizza! We will be back again!

Grilled flat bread was quite good. We got the meatball and ricotta and the crust makes it. Dinner was penne with meat sauce which was good, not great and the linguini and mushrooms with carbonnara which was good, but was not carbonnara. The real sauce is made with egg yolk and this was merely an alfredo type cream sauce with bacon in it. Still quite tasty, but not the dish being described. The place has a nice atmosphere, but an early dinner $60+ dollars after tip with no alcohol, I thought it would be a little better. We would and will still go back, because the location and ambience is quite good, but we would order accordingly.

I went here for lunch last week with my wife and mother in law. After reading the previous reviews it may be hard to believe I'm talking about the same restaurant. The food was delicious. I had the grilled salmon sandwich with avocado aloe and sweet potato fries. It was absolutely delicious. My wife and mother in law both had a salad with grilled mushrooms and both had nothing but praise for their lunch. The food was creative, fresh and delicious. I'll admit the service was a little slow and they weren't that busy. I guess the key to enjoying this restaurant is to avoid going at happy hour.

We really enjoyed the wonderful salad and flat bread pizza! The service was very good and it was just a pleasant experience.

This place was OK. I would not go back but... They will not change anything on the menu at all. We asked for romain instead of mixed greens and that was some kind of big deal. In the end the salad & pasta was Tasteless. Others in my party had good food (calzone). The service was seriously lacking. Never got the refill I asked for and William (our server) was not on the ball. The table was cluttered and we had to ask for plates to be cleared. I would not suggest this place.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
